The first large-scale UV-C vineyard protection systems in Hungary

SINCE 2024

Szerencsés Winery

The family winery located in Kiskunhalas, in the Kunság Wine Region, has taken a pioneering role in introducing chemical-free technology in Hungary. They have been successfully applying the Hungarian-developed UV-C equipment for 2 years (since 2024) on 10 hectares.

"Thanks to UV-C treatment, chemical use has drastically decreased in fighting fungal diseases. This year we only had to spray twice, compared to four times during the same period last year."
– Ildikó Szerencsés-Fekete
